The ACUHO-I Foundation supports resources and programs that further the development of individuals involved in campus housing around the globe. Our primary goal is to be a good steward of financial resources to support the profession and its future, and to provide opportunities and access to resources for all people involved in college and university housing operations. Our vision is to ensure that every person has access to resources of the housing profession and is inspired to invest in its future. Read on to learn more about the ways in which we invest in you and in the profession.
ACUHO-I prides itself on being an international association. Members recognize the common bonds that unite campus housing professionals regardless of what country they work in, while also embracing the differences that make each operation unique. This spirit is enhanced by partnerships with international affiliates; independent associations that share the ACUHO-I mission of advancing the campus housing profession. The ACUHO-I Foundation supports this goal by funding programs designed to extend the reach of the association around the globe.
ACUHO-I’s ongoing commitment to global education and partnerships would not be possible without the Foundation and members like you. As one of this year’s faculty for the ACUHO-I SAC Roelf Visser Student Housing Training Institute, I had the privilege of engaging with dedicated faculty and working with some amazing colleagues committed to a better future for higher education in South Africa. As the NACURH Advisor, I work with many talented young professionals who aspire to work in our field of student housing. It’s good to know that our future is bright, both here and abroad. Baie dankie. Ngiyabonga kakhulu. Ndiyabulela kakhulu. Ke a leboga. Thank you, ACUHO-I Foundation.
